Transferring a 1c license to another computer. What to do when there is no registration data

The reasons for transferring 1C (or a database) from computer to computer can be very different - updating the company's equipment fleet, the desire to work at home over the weekend, etc. It should be noted that transferring the SQL version cannot be done by following simple, step-by-step instructions , primarily due to the difficulties of unloading and the nuances of the database configuration. This requires the involvement of an IT specialist. An independent user of products on the 1C:Enterprise platform will be able to transfer only the file version of the database, if he has the appropriate (administrator) rights to work in the configurator. Let's look at the process of transferring the database using the example of the "Enterprise Accounting, Edition 3.0" configuration.

As with any configuration manipulation, you first need to create, unload and save an archive copy of the database.

The fastest way to download the database is through the configurator menu and “Administration”, and then “Download infobase”, and then specify the storage address:

In fact, maintaining the base is a regulatory procedure necessary for insurance.

But it has a significant drawback specifically for transferring the configuration: when unloading the database in this way, certain settings that provide the usual comfort of work are not saved.

To make a copy of the entire database, with working settings for fonts, reports, etc., you need to select the “Configuration” menu item and then “Save configuration to file”:

A file with the .cf extension will be saved at the specified address (this is the database we need):

The database configuration with all settings can also be copied directly from the catalog. The location of the database can be clarified in the “Help” menu, then “About the Program”, item “Catalogue”:

It is not recommended to work in the system after unloading the database, as discrepancies with the saved data may occur.

Platform installation

The next step is to install the platform distribution (setup.exe file).

You can take it:

On the ITS disk;

Download on the 1C user support website.

Let us consider in detail the second installation option, since the ITS disk is a limited resource and may not contain the required version of the platform.

Download the distributions, unpack and save them at the specified address:

Install:

“Install protection driver” is required, check the box next to it, and click “Next”:

Uncheck the box and click “Finish”:

There is a possibility when the installation file can be downloaded from a computer on which the program was previously used, but it is impossible to guarantee the complete correct operation of the platform.

Launching the file will not cause any particular difficulties, but note that installing the protection driver is only necessary if you use hardware protection (USB key). If you are using a software license, the checkbox from the prompt to install the driver should be unchecked.

License keys

As already mentioned, the license of 1C products can be supported at the software or hardware level.

Activating a hardware license involves using a USB key, and activating a software license means entering a PIN code when you first start 1C on a conditionally new computer. The PIN code is used once, since the launched license takes into account the parameters of a specific hardware and will not work with another. PIN keys (main and two backup) are included in the package of the program box. If there are no backup keys left, you should contact the support service of the 1C franchisee company that provides support services and receive a registration form. When filling it out, it is very important that all the details and other information in it absolutely coincide with what was filled out the previous time. After this, you can get a set of additional keys.

After transferring the saved database to a new computer, the database must be connected.

When you first start 1C:Enterprise, you are prompted to add an infobase to the list:

Since we are talking about a database that already exists, in the mode selection window we click on “Add to the list of existing information security”:

In the form that appears, indicate the name and type of database location (previously saved address). The location type “On this computer or on a local network PC” requires selecting the directory where the information base will be installed (In Figure D:\1C_Bases\Accounting):

If the directory did not exist before, the 1C:Enterprise 8 system will automatically create it upon startup. The Launch Options window is final. If the default settings meet the requirements, clicking “Finish” will add the database to the list:

The database has been successfully transferred.

Often an organization tries to support its organization. equipment is up to date. In particular, a computer park. In this article, we will consider a situation where you need to replace an outdated computer with a new one. But the question arises of how to transfer the 1C database to a new computer and accordingly.

The first thing you need to do is create a copy of the 1C 8.3 database, or, in other words, .

To do this, you need to log into the configurator with Administrator rights:

After this, you need to go to the “Administration” menu, then select the “Upload information base...” item.

After downloading the information base, you can no longer work on this computer, otherwise there will be data discrepancies.

Now we take a new (different computer). Presumably, it already has an operating system. Now we need first of all. For this we need an installation distribution. Run the “setup.exe” file. We press “Next” all the time, except for one place. This is the installation settings window:

Get 267 video lessons on 1C for free:

Here I usually select all components except “1C Server: Enterprise”, since it is not needed on the working machine.

Important! If you have a server version of 1C, then the installed version of the platform must match the version of 1C Server, otherwise it will not work. If you install a later version of the platform, you should also update the server to the same version. If for some reason you install an earlier version, then you should also install the same version of 1C Server on the physical server, this is permissible.

After installing the platform, you must install a license, otherwise it will not start.

Transfer of 1C Enterprise 8 license

There are two types:

  • A hardware key is a device similar to a flash drive. It also plugs into a USB port. At the platform stage, the installer will ask you whether to install the security driver. These drivers are just for hardware protection. If you have just such a key, you only need to insert it into the new computer;
  • The license file is the file that will be generated the first time you run the program. It will be placed in the directory with the program and ensure the system starts correctly. The old license file will not work, since when generated it polls the computer parameters and will not work with another system unit.

To obtain a software license file, you need a PIN code. It is a group of combinations of numbers and letters and is located in the box with the program. As a rule, in the box you will find one main key and three backup ones. Your main key has most likely already been used, so we’ll use a backup one. If all reserve keys have already been used up, then you need to contact support and fill out the registration form again.

When you first start 1C, the system will ask you for software license information, enter it.

Remember! The new registration form must completely match the original, down to the comma. Therefore, I advise you to print out the initial registration form and store it in the program box.

After the license is installed, add an empty database in the list of databases using the “Add” button:

It's simple: copy the folder with 1C installed.
When using version 8.1, follow the path to the file C:\Program files\1Cv81\
If version 8.2 is used, the path is C:\Program files\1Cv82\.

Please keep in mind: some minor functions, for example, COM connection, will be unavailable.

Transferring the 1C configuration

Let's prepare a copy with the existing DB (database). Step by step about copying the configuration:

Open 1C on your computer (for example, at work in the office). It is important that there is a database there. 1C always has a list of databases. From this list, select the one you need and click CONFIGURATOR. Keep in mind that you must have access to log in and work in the configurator, otherwise nothing will work with the copy.

Once you enter the configurator, you will see a menu and an empty window. In such a situation, you need to select the menu item CONFIGURATION - OPEN CONFIGURATION. 1C will think for a long time (maybe up to 5 minutes), then, finally, the long-awaited “Configuration” window will open with the structure of the configuration components. If you, as a user, log in next time, the actions described in this paragraph will no longer be needed.

Finally, you can begin to directly create a copy. Select the menu item CONFIGURATION - SAVE CONFIGURATION TO FILE. An option is to obtain a copy of the entire database. In this case, find it in the menu and click ADMINISTRATION - UPLOAD INFORMATION BASE.

The result at this stage will be the file 1cv8.cf or 1cv8.dt. Transfer the extracted file to another computer using any known method; as a rule, a flash drive is useful here. Save the transferred file anywhere. To create a database, we will choose a different method. Keep in mind that this way you copied the configuration, but you didn't copy many of its elements, including external reports, help, fonts and whatnot.

Note: cf file, this is the configuration, it no data, i.e. the database is empty, and the dt file is a configuration with data (a complete copy of the 1C database).

The second version of preparing the 1C configuration for transfer

If your office has a file version of 1C, then your actions are simple: open 1C, select the database we need in the menu, the path “File =”Database directory” will be displayed under the list of databases, copy the entire folder with the database.

Please note: if your colleagues are working in the 1C program at this moment, all files will definitely not be copied. But we only need the 1Cv8.1CD file, it contains the database, the remaining files do not need to be copied at all. But this method is less reliable, because... There is a possibility that at the time of copying, someone wrote new data to the database, and you will only have part of this data, as a result, since the data is not completely recorded, errors will appear in the database.

We create a database from the received copy of 1C

The first method is the simplest: If you managed to get a copy of the entire directory or the 1Cv8.1CD file, then add the database to the list of 1C databases (opens when you start 1C) and indicate the entire copied directory or the directory with the 1Cv8.1CD file.

Second method: You only have the downloaded configuration (1cv8.cf) or database (1cv8.dt).

Open 1C; if you launch the 1C platform for the first time, it will indicate “There are no configurations in the list. Add?" Click “Yes”, if this computer is running 1C, then select “Add”. Find “Add to the list of an existing database”, click “Next”.

Enter a user-friendly database name. It will be reflected in the list of all databases when opening 1C. This could be called, for example, “Training Configuration 1”. Determine the location of the database. Select the option “On this computer or on a computer on the local network” and indicate in which folder you will store the database (any folder you want).

The database (folder) is empty yet, but it is already present in the list of databases. Select it and click CONFIGURATOR.

The message “Infobase not found, create a new one?” appears, click Yes.

Select the menu item CONFIGURATION - OPEN CONFIGURATION.

After a little thought, 1C will open the “Configuration” window with the structure of configuration elements.

We download a copy of the CONFIGURATION according to the usual scheme. To do this, select the menu item CONFIGURATION - LOAD CONFIGURATION FROM FILE.

Another option

If there is a copy of the entire database, then select the menu item ADMINISTRATION - LOAD INFORMATION BASE.

At the last stage, after loading the database or configuration, the 1C program itself prompts you to “Update the database configuration.” If this dialog box does not appear on its own, find the menu item CONFIGURATION - UPDATE DATABASE CONFIGURATION. If it is inactive, then don't touch it.

PS
You can order a 1C transfer from freelancers, which is much cheaper than 1C farches. Just add new tasks in the section.

If all reserve keys have already been used up, then you need to contact support and fill out the registration form again.

Select “Create an infobase without configuration...”:

In the next steps, specify an arbitrary name and database and its location on the disk.

After creating an empty database, go to the “Configurator” and in the “Administration” menu select “Load information base...”:

That's all, the transfer of the database and 1C license is completed. You can work on a new computer. Just don’t work on two computers at once, unless of course you have a local network and the database is located on a separate, dedicated computer (server). In this case, the operation of transferring the 1C infobase is not necessary.

The post Transferring 1C 8.3 to another computer without losing your license first appeared on the 1C GOODWILL company blog.

Updating the technology park, an increasing number of system errors, new platform and database requirements may lead to the transfer of 1C to another computer. In this case, it is often necessary not only to transfer the 1C database from one computer to another, but also to reinstall the platform and licenses. Let's talk about all this in order.

Old platform on a new computer

Any actions with the database must begin with creating a backup copy, otherwise there is a serious possibility of data loss.

To create a copy of the database, you can use either regular file copying of data or data provided by the platform.

In the latter case you need:

  • Log in to the configurator with administrator rights;
  • Select the menu item Administration->Download infobase;
  • Select the directory in which the dt format file will be saved.

It should be kept in mind that large databases are downloaded into large files. To avoid errors, you should make sure that there is enough disk space.

We put away the old computer.

On the new computer we install a platform whose version number is not lower than the one that was installed on the old one. Otherwise, you may receive an error indicating a mismatch between the releases of the database and the platform, thus transferring 1C to another computer will fail.

Installing a license on a new computer

The program will not work without a license. It will report that the program key was not detected and will crash.

The program key can be:

  1. Hardware key. The flash drive, inserted into the USB connector, contains information about the number of licenses that this device can distribute; to start it, you must install the HASP driver;
  2. License file – generated when the platform is launched for the first time.

Please note that in the second case, a license file taken from an old computer will not work.

To obtain a license, you may need the PIN code supplied with the program. The alphanumeric combination is usually supplied with the program. Typically the delivery box contains one main key and three spare ones. When re-activating, as a rule, it turns out that the main key has already been used, so we will try to enter a backup one. If all reserve keys have been used up, you must contact the information support service, where they will ask you to fill out a registration form to receive a key.

It should be borne in mind that the data entered into the registration form must fully correspond to those entered during the first registration. For this reason, you should store the printed form in the box that came with the configuration.

Transfer of 1C database

Let's consider two options for transferring the database:

  • Using a previously saved ft;
  • Using simple copying using the file system.

Having a dt file saved using the method described earlier, we must:

The second option assumes that the database folder will be copied from the old computer to the new one. You can find out its location in the launch window (highlighted line after the word File):

Having inserted this folder into a directory on the new computer, you need to register an item for it in the new program. For this:

  1. Having reached point 3 of the previous algorithm, you need to set the switch to the lower position “Adding an existing information base”;
  2. We come up with an original name for it, and the next step is to select the directory into which the database was copied;
  3. Further steps differ little from previous actions.

It should be noted that in some cases the program may not be installed using the supplied Setup file. It is enough to simply copy the folder with the program (as a rule, it has a line like “1CV” in its name) from the old computer to the new one. True, this will not save you from installing a license, and some functions of the program will be unavailable. But in emergency situations, this option significantly speeds up the process of transferring 1C.

Further actions

If you worked with the database not only from a new computer, but also from other PCs, connecting to the database via a local network, you will most likely have to run around departments, rewriting a new path to the database. Before doing this, do not forget to enable general access to the database.

  1. Right-click on the folder with the database;
  2. Select “Properties”;
  3. Go to the “Access” tab;
  4. Click the Share button.

In this way, you can transfer the program and 1C database from one computer to another, if you have configured the file mode for working with the database. In the case of client-server and terminal modes, the sequence of actions may be different.
