Equipment

So, before we start, we will start with the delivery kit. The package contents are as follows: documentation, headset, USB cable, charging block and the phone itself. Versions of the device with other delivery kits are also offered.

Design, build quality and materials

So we figured out what configuration the LG G4C smartphone comes to store shelves in. Below is an overview of its appearance.

First of all, we note that we are talking about the junior representative of the G4 series. From the flagship it received a plastic back cover. The device is a classic 5-inch smartphone. The dimensions of the device are 139.7x69.8 mm, with a thickness of 10.2 mm. Thanks to the rounded lid, the smartphone does not feel bulky. Low weight - 136 grams - emphasizes the appearance of a compact device. The case material in this case is ordinary plastic. However, the back cover is complemented by relief and pattern. The plastic cover is simple in design. for LG they are typically located on the back of the device. The build quality of the smartphone is good. A removable back cover is provided. Under it there are 2 MicroSIM slots and a microSD compartment. There is also a removable battery located here.

Screen, color quality and viewing angles

So we figured out the appearance of the LG G4C. Below is an overview of the screen. The device received a five-inch display with an IPS matrix. Its resolution is 1280x720 pixels. The screen has good viewing angles and high-quality color reproduction. The pixel density per inch is decent - 294 ppi.

Tests

Now let's take a look at the performance of the LG G4C. An overview of the tests is given below. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone is built around a 64-bit platform. It includes an Adreno 306 graphics subsystem and a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. Benchmark performance results are incredibly good. Games run smoothly, just like flagship models. The smartphone received 8 GB of permanent memory, of which about 3.3 GB is available to the user. This figure cannot be called high. However, it can be expanded thanks to MicroSD. The maximum storage capacity is 32 GB. However, you cannot put games on MicroSD. The capacity of the removable battery is 2540 mAh. A decent result for the specified screen diagonal and performance indicators. Video viewing time was about 7 hours at maximum brightness. The smartphone charge will be enough for a day of battery life under intense load. The external mono speaker is located at the rear of the device. Its quality does not cause any complaints. The sound in the headphones is pleasing. It reaches, if not exceeds, the capabilities of a flagship.

Other characteristics

We will continue our review of the LG G4C with a description of its operating system. The device runs Android Lollipop. The platform is supplemented with a proprietary shell from LG. This upgrade brings a number of additional features to the operating system, including support for gestures. Now you should take a look at the cameras. There are two of them: the main one is 8 MP, the front one is 5 MP. The main module is equipped with an LED flash and is also capable of recording video in Full HD quality. Most often, the main camera allows you to take pictures of average quality. However, they can be great if there is good lighting.

At 5 MP it shows average results. LG G4C is equipped with the necessary set of wireless modules: 4G, FM radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS. The price of the device is about 15,000 rubles.

Opinions

Now let's see what LG G4C owners say in their reviews. Below is an overview of the opinions of device owners. So, the build quality, shell convenience, design and communication characteristics deserve praise. Owners also note that the device fits perfectly in the hand. The volume is considered high. The sound from headphones is often described as excellent. Users consider the display bright and high-quality. The flash also received praise and was found to be effective.

Many people are pleased with the easy switching between two SIM cards. Some users consider the lack of side buttons to be an advantage. In their opinion, this design allows you to confidently hold the smartphone in your hand without fear of pressing a key accidentally.

The thickness is considered ideal, noting that it allows you to comfortably take the device from a perfectly flat surface without it slipping out.

The response was also praiseworthy. It is noted that the display responds to touch instantly. The presence of the Android 5.0 operating system allowed the phone to receive even more positive ratings from owners.

Among the shortcomings they mention the absence (this problem can be solved by purchasing special glass or film). There are also a few complaints about the sound of the speaker. Some reviews note that the battery is poorly calibrated and can go from 20 percent to two percent in just a few minutes. The FM receiver is also not always praised, mentioning that it does not pick up stations well in urban conditions. There are complaints about lack of memory. Some smartphone owners note that the back cover is not resistant to external damage, in particular scratches. A couple of active numbers found a response in the hearts of users. The comments also claim that the fourth generation network module copes with its functions perfectly. Users are pleased with the presence of Glance View. We are talking about a function that allows you to get the necessary information by swiping your finger across the screen without completely unlocking the device. Now you know everything you need to know about the LG G4C smartphone. We tried to make the review of the device as detailed as possible.

Smartphone LG G4c– a powerful and bright phone in an original, slightly curved body, which, according to the manufacturer, fits better in the hand and ensures comfortable use of the device. The device is positioned as a mid-price model, with some aspirations for the premium segment. However, up to the premium characteristics LG G4c falls a little short.

Main features and features

1. The already legendary arched design LG G4c. We are talking about that very slight curvature of the case: the display is slightly concave.
2. Five-inch IPS display made using innovative LG In-Cell Touch technology. A new product from a Korean company, the essence of which is to reduce the distance between the touch screen surface and the display that displays colors. As a result, you get the feeling as if you are touching the images directly. A bright picture and a feeling of live touch create special magic. With a resolution of 1280x720, the display provides a density of 294 pixels per inch, which ensures that individual pixels on the screen are almost completely indistinguishable to the eye.
3. A powerful CPU with 4 cores and a frequency of 1.5 GHz will ensure smooth operation of the device even under heavy load.
4. Front camera (or, as the manufacturer calls it, selfie camera) 5 MP with virtual flash due to the bright backlight of the screen, which provides clear selfies even in low light.
5. The Adreno 306 video processor will be an excellent assistant in 3D virtual worlds.
6. An important detail: the device is equipped with a slot for memory expansion, you can increase the volume up to 32 GB
7. 1W speakers provide deep bass. A unique phenomenon for phones: truly high-quality low frequencies without plastic echo.

Phone for long parties

One of the important advantages is a capacious 2540 mAh battery. This volume allows the phone to last quite a long time, and after activating the energy saving mode, you can last for several hours on the last percent of the charge. Therefore, even if the party lasts, you won’t have to put your phone in your purse or pocket like a lifeless brick.

Perhaps the South Korean company needs no introduction. Many of its mobile solutions have already been in the laboratory, and all of them, at a minimum, deserve attention.

“On paper” – nothing special, just another MediaTek device, and with only 1 GB of RAM. Not much, considering the price they ask for a smartphone. But what if he can surprise us? Let's get started with the review.

Packaging and equipment LG G4c

The LG smartphone comes in a white and red cardboard box, the dimensions of which correspond to the dimensions of the device contained in it.

The model name is printed on the front side of the package, and a short list of device characteristics is printed on the back side.

In addition to the phone with battery, the package includes:

  • Charger;

  • Micro-USB cable;
  • User manual and warranty card.

Quite standard equipment, the bare minimum. But what, exactly, is the LG G4c itself?

Appearance and design of LG G4c

The hero of the review is made in a classic form factor - a candy bar with a touch screen. As you would expect, externally the device looks almost an exact copy

The smartphone came out very beautiful, still not as good as in leather, but the back cover looks quite attractive. These shimmers look unusual, and most importantly, they distinguish the smartphone from many competitors. It feels rustic to the touch and slips a little in the palm. The lid is removable, many people love it. The battery can also be removed independently. The smartphone is available in the following colors: gold, white and silver. The smartphone is good in size, fits comfortably in the hand, no complaints. The power and volume buttons are located on the back; please note, LG is the first company to move them there. They are convenient to use; feeling them with your index finger is not difficult. The G4c is assembled perfectly, we have no complaints about the quality of materials and assembly.

Shell

The smartphone is new, so the OS version is the latest, fifth. Android of course. Let us note the function of customizing the control buttons, since they are software, LG has implemented the ability to change and add them. You can add up to 5 different buttons and use them. In addition, there is a function to lock and unlock by double tapping the screen. The shell is nice and, honestly, I wouldn’t want to change it. It works quickly, there are no slowdowns, plus everything is very functional and understandable.

Specifications

  • CPU

    MediaTek MT6752, 4 cores 1500 (MHz)

  • Video processor

It seems that the processor is not that powerful and the video chip is not the most powerful, but the performance of the smartphone is respectable. We will tell you later how this hardware behaved in our tests. Let’s say right away that this combination pleasantly surprised us, thanks to LG engineers.

Memory

This component hides the only disadvantage of this smartphone. Available memory is only 3.1 GB. 8 GB is stated, so don’t be surprised when you find so little free memory on a brand new smartphone. We'll have to expand. Fortunately, there is such an opportunity; the G4c supports microSD up to 32 GB. And there is only 1 GB of RAM.

Connection

GPS works well, I saw 20 satellites, but only started working with five. LTE networks are not supported, but the rest of the set, standard for most gadgets, is present.
