Addition to Yandex browser to bypass blocking. FreeU - a convenient browser for bypassing blocks

The news about the ban on Russian social networks and Internet services in Ukraine made Ukrainians think about how to bypass site blocking. The same methods that are used to access blocked pages are suitable for this, for example, system administrator At work.

"Country" has collected the most popular of them.

Websites

VPN(virtual private network), in the context of bypassing blocking, is a way to spoof your location by pretending to be a resident of a country in which the site you want is not prohibited. In this case, the user receives a secure channel with encryption of all transmitted data. This technology works with browser extensions, or plugins for the browser you use.

For example, we use Chrome.

We go to the extensions directory through the browser settings button.

There we write VPN and the catalog will offer extensions that work with this technology.

Select the one you need and click “install”. For example, we chose the first one from the list - it turned out to be ZenMate. Install it in the browser.

The plugin will prompt you to register using email, and will then appear in the extensions panel.

By default, our traffic went through Romania, but by clicking on the extension icon, you can select any other country from the list.

Another similar extension is hola! One of the disadvantages is that you need to manually select the VPN of the desired country. Also, the plugin often disrupts the layout of blocked pages, making them difficult to read. However, according to publishers, it is better suited for viewing media content: it uses other users' computers with the plug-in installed to speed up loading of streaming video.

There is also a service called TunnelBear. It is available on iOS, Android, PC and Mac and also works with VPN technology. Install it on mobile platforms more difficult. So, on iOS, it first asks you to register and confirm email, create a profile with VPN settings, enable its profile in iOS options and only then start working.

Proxy server. This is the name of a server that acts as an intermediary: you trust it to get the information you need for you. That is, you contact the proxy server, which requests information on the blocked resource and transmits it to you. In the simplest case, a proxy server is designed in the form of an ordinary website, where you need to enter the address of the resource you need.

Among such services are Hideme, Ninjacloak, ProxFree, Proxyweb, Hide My Ass, Proxfree.com, Stealthy.co. The principle of their operation is very similar: usually they simply require you to copy the link into a line on your home page. The disadvantage of such services (as well as most other methods) is that pages load much slower, and sometimes videos or music are completely impossible to play.

Program- Tor browser - this is anonymous virtual network transmitting traffic in encrypted form and guaranteeing complete anonymity. The browser has a large number additional settings to ensure maximum anonymity.

Software running on each TOR participant's computer helps forward packets from other participants. Any request you make will be encrypted and transmitted from one TOR user to another a certain number of times and then sent to its destination. After which the user will be returned a response. No one except the first and last node will know where the request was addressed, or what information was requested.

Browser turbo mode. IN Opera browser All you need to do is enable Opera Turbo in the settings, which will help you bypass the restrictions.

Mobile devices

Experts say that mobile applications(VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, etc.) should work without restrictions, because they are not tied to a domain name.

As an alternative, for iPhone and iPad users there is the Onion browser, which runs through the Tor routing system, where traffic is almost untraceable. The only thing required from the user is $1 for the universal version for all Apple platforms. For Android there is an analogue called Orweb, as well as OrBot and Puffin Web Browser.

Earlier, "Strana" reported that the ombudsman's office announced.

We also talked about blocking VKontakte, Yandex and Odnoklassniki.

Browsers with Turbo function

The Turbo function was originally created for Opera browsers to speed up page loading on a slow connection. Subsequently, it turned out that this technology helps to circumvent some restrictions. After you enter the site address in such a browser, the information from it is not sent to you, but is transferred to intermediary servers, where the data is compressed and from there it gets to your computer. Therefore, the provider believes that this moment you are on the servers of the browser developer, and not reading an article about five-leaf smoking plants or visiting Rutracker. The Turbo function is available in the Opera and Yandex Browser browsers. By the way, you can install Yandex Browser even on your work computer, since you don’t need administrator rights for this. This method allows you to view portals included in the Roskomnadzor register and sites blocked at work (but not always, depending on the blocking methods). Tor technology was developed by none other than the US Navy Research Laboratory in order to leave no traces in enemy logs and securely transmit military secrets over networks. In 2002, it was officially declassified, and independent developers adapted it for ordinary users and made it available for free use. When you launch the Tor Browser, an anonymous network connection based on onion routing. The military still uses Tor to obtain information from open sources. In addition, it has become one of the most popular ways to break through the Great Firewall of China. Chinese dissidents know a lot about anonymity! In addition to the Tor system, the Hotspot Shield program is very popular among the Chinese. When you launch it, an encrypted connection is created, and your computer is assigned a temporary IP address of some civilized country. This allows access to sites closed to Russia, such as http://www.netflix.com or http://www.zappos.com.

Anonymizers

This is the easiest way to view a blocked site. To do this, just enter his address on the anonymizer website. The method has a number of disadvantages: slow speed, payment for disabling advertising, inability to log in “inside” the opened site (it’s unlikely to be possible to watch a VKontakte video). In fact, the method is only good for visiting simple static pages. But it’s worth remembering: you may need it in the near future to read Lolita or download Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Some popular anonymizer sites: http://www.hidemyass.com http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html http://www.guardster.com/free/ http://www.anonymizer.ru Note to the user : Google Translator can also act as an anonymizer. Paste the URL into it, and along with the translation of the page, you will also have access to its original.

Faced with the fact that the ISP blocks access to any site, almost every person first wants to know how to get to this blocked site. I know this from myself :) If you are looking ways to bypass site blocking– then you have come to the right place. In today’s article I will tell you how you can access a resource blocked by your provider.

1 way: Bypass blocking using browser tools

For those who use a browser to surf the Internet Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, I recommend installing the extension friGate. This is one of the simplest and most convenient ways to bypass website blocking.

For browser Opera And Yandex.Browser you don’t even need to install any extensions - just enable the one available in them Turbo mode . In this mode, sites blocked by your provider should open without problems.

To enable Turbo mode in Yandex Browser, you need to go to its settings by clicking the corresponding button in the upper right corner of the browser:

Then scroll down the list that opens and put the switch in the “ Always on”:

After this, you can access the blocked site.

In the browser Opera you need to click the button in the upper left corner and check the box Opera Turbo:In this mode, the blocked site will open.

Method 2: Using an anonymizer

Advantage this method is that you will not be required to install any additional software or browser extensions on your computer. You just go to a special online service and enter the address of the desired site.

The disadvantages include not too much fast work such services. Also inconvenient is the need to open the anonymizer every time to access the desired site.

There are a huge number of anonymizer sites on the Internet. I will give examples of two of the most famous and popular ones. You can use any of them.

After you enter in any of these services search bar address of the blocked site and press the key Enter– the service will load this page and show it to you at a different address. Thanks to this, blocking is bypassed (the known site address is changed to a new one - unblocked).

3 way: Using the Tor Browser

Since Internet sites began to be massively blocked in our country, the browser has gained great popularity. Tor. And even those users who have never worked with it have still heard something about it.

Tor Browser created for anonymous surfing in the Internet. With its help, you can easily access sites if they are blocked by your provider.

Externally Tor is a regular Internet browser based on Firefox. But it uses unique technology, the so-called “onion routing”. The data it transmits is encrypted and decrypted several times, passing through dozens of routers and being sent to random routers on the network.

So, download the browser Tor here at this link.

Before starting the download, select Russian from the list. Then press the big button “ Download”:

Launch the downloaded file.

By default, the browser is installed in the “ Tor Browser” on the desktop. You can change this path, or you can leave it like this:

Once the installation is complete, the following window will open. Click on the button “ Connect”:

After a few seconds the browser itself will open:

That's all: you can enter in address bar the address of the blocked site, and it will open:

I warn you that using the Tor browser, sites will open a little slower than usual. But if we want to access blocked resources, we can live with this.

Because At the time of installing the program, I did not change anything - a folder was created on my Desktop Tor Browser. The next time I need to open the Tor browser, I will launch it from this folder using the shortcut Start Tor Browser.
